Amid the Koro epidemic in the country, conspiracies are being hatched on the Pakistan-China border. Meanwhile, the BSF on Thursday arrested a Chinese national who was trying to enter India illegally from the Bangladesh border. This Chinese citizen Han Junwe has turned out to be a spy. In addition, it has smuggled more than 1,500 Indian SIM cards to China.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that Han Junwe, a Chinese national, was caught illegally entering Malda in West Bengal with malicious intent. He was officially arrested after Junwe was reported to be a spy. Han Junwe was handed over to the Uttar Pradesh ATS on Friday. Sun Jiang, Han Juwe's business partner, was recently arrested by Uttar Pradesh police. The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) recently co-accused Han Junwei and his wife in a case involving Jiang and declared Han Junwei wanted. As Han wanted, he did not get an Indian visa.

Regarding Junwe's interrogation, BSF DIG SS Guleria said Junwe had claimed that Jiang had sent 1,200 Indian SIM cards to China. The SIM was received by Junwe and his wife in China. The reason for smuggling this SIM is being investigated. Han Junwe said he first came to Hyderabad in 2010. He visited Delhi-Gurugram three times after 2014. It also has a hotel in Gurugram, which employs many Chinese nationals and Indians. His current passport is from Hubei Province, which was issued in January 2021.
