6.19 crore cannabis hidden under mango was seized in Madhya Pradesh

The Revenue Intelligence Directorate has nabbed three miscreants with 3092 kg of cannabis worth Rs 6.19 crore hidden in a truck laden with mangoes in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, the largest amount ever seized in the state.

The truck, which was passing through Rajasthan, was stopped near Sagar on Friday night. Officers found a quantity of marijuana hidden under a mango basket after a thorough inspection of the vehicle.

Three people sitting in the truck have been detained. He has been booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
