Mumbai: A building collapse has started in Mumbai along with the rains. A three-storey building collapsed on a nearby building in Malavani's Malvani last night. Eleven people, including children and women, were killed in the incident.

Apart from this, seven people were injured. He was hospitalized for treatment. With the help of locals, some were rescued from the rubble.

Meanwhile, at Malvani Gate No. 8, Malad (West), Abdul Hamid Road, Plot No. in New Collector Compound. The three-story building at 72 collapsed at 11.10 last night. The surrounding building was also damaged. Most of the children and women were at home at the time of the incident.

Upon learning of the incident, police, fire brigade and municipal personnel rushed to the rescue. He rescued about 18 people from the rubble with the help of locals.

The rescue operation was hampered by the narrowness of the road. Crowds of people, on the other hand, had also gathered. Police were deployed here. They were relocated as the incident endangered the lives of the surrounding residents.

Several members of the Siddiqui family have lost their lives when the building collapsed. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had announced Rs 5 lakh each for the families of those who died in Malvani and for the treatment of the injured. He expressed sorrow over the incident and questioned the family of the injured.

As soon as the Chief Minister got the information about the incident, he had a discussion with the Municipal Commissioner. He instructed to carry out relief and rescue operations carefully. Expressing grief, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also announced Rs 2 lakh each to the family of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the seriously injured.
