UPSC has postponed the Civil Service Preliminary Examination, which will now be held on this date

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has decided to postpone the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2021 in view of the increasing number of cases of Corona infection in the country. UPSC has issued a notification in this regard on its official website. Accordingly, the proposed Civil Services Preliminary Examination has been postponed to June 27. Now this exam will be taken on 10th October 2021.

A statement issued by the commission said that the Union Public Service Commission has postponed the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021 to be held on June 27, 2021 in view of the circumstances created due to Corona virus (Covid-19). Now this exam will be taken on 10th October 2021.

It may be mentioned that every year the Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC in three stages namely Preliminary, Main and Interview. The officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) are selected through this examination.

Last year, the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2020 was to be taken on May 31 by the Union Public Service Commission. But it was postponed because of the Corona epidemic. Finally, the UPSC held a nationwide exam on October 4.
