The pace of vaccination does not slow down, the PM's review meeting on the Corona crisis

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a review meeting on the situation in the country, which is facing another wave of Corona. Meanwhile, information was provided on infrastructure facilities in the health sector, corona and current status of medicines in the states. He, meanwhile, emphasized that vaccination should not be slowed down.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a review meeting on the status of the corona virus in the country. In which he was informed of Corona's current condition. There are more than one lakh active cases in about 12 states, according to the PMO. In addition, the district which has the highest death toll due to corona was also informed.

The Prime Minister stressed that the pace of vaccination should not be slowed down as well as the citizens should be vaccinated even in lockdown and no other responsibilities should be assigned to the health workers involved in this work.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on the healthcare infrastructure being prepared by the states. The meeting also discussed the need for immediate and comprehensive measures to prevent the transition. Efforts to increase production of other drugs, including remedivir, were also reported. Also reviewed the vaccination roadmap. 17.7 crore vaccines have been given to the states in the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Health Minister Dr. Ministers and officials like Harshvardhan, Piyush Goyal, Mansukh Mandvia etc. were present.
