The High Court has fined a petitioner seeking information from foreign vaccine companies

The demand for the vaccine has also picked up amid the outcry over the corona outbreak in the country, with the government now allowing foreign vaccines to be used in India.

Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court has rejected a petition filed by foreign vaccine companies seeking information on their application for approval in India and has also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on the petitioner. The Delhi High Court said the court would not hear the petition just to increase your knowledge.

The court also commented that it is fashionable nowadays for a person to file a public interest petition immediately if he has an idea. The right to petition cannot be abused in this way. The country also has the Right to Information Act. Under which this information can be found.

The petition was filed by a man named Mayank Wadhwa. In which direction was sought to give this information to the center and concerned persons. The petition said that the Center should provide information on foreign vaccine companies and the basis on which they have sought approval.
