Maharashtra, May 23, 2021, Sunday

Corona's second wave was at its peak when beds in hospitals were missing and then the country's shrines came to the aid of the people.

People from all kinds of places of worship helped someone in some way. Now a big announcement has been made by the famous Gurudwara Takht Shri Hazur Saheb of Nanded, Maharashtra to help the society in the time of Koro. As stated by the Gurudwara, whatever gold has been deposited here in the last fifty years will be donated and whatever money comes out of it will be used to build a hospital.

Sant Baba Kulwant Singhji, who owns the Takht, said that the people of Nandade have to travel to cities like Hyderabad and Mumbai for treatment due to lack of hospitals. If a hospital is built in Nanded, people will not have to travel to big cities. People from the surrounding villages will also be able to get treatment here. The gold that we have accumulated in the last fifty years is no longer to be kept. We want to use it for service. Funds will be raised for the hospital and school.

It may be mentioned that Shri Hazur Saheb Takht of Nanded has a prominent religious significance. This Gurudwara was built between 1832 and 1837. Situated on the banks of the river Godavari, Nanded is famous for its Gurudwara. Millions of devotees come here every year and bow their heads. Before 1708 Guru Gobind Singhji stayed here for some years with his followers for preaching.
