Mulayam Singh Yadav in hospital following urological problems

-Doctors declared the condition stable

-Yogi and Akhilesh arrived to meet

Senior Samajwadi Party leader and former Union Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav was admitted to hospital after his health deteriorated. Doctors treating him said he had a urinary tract infection but after timely treatment his condition was now stable and he was out of danger.

Mulayam Singh Yadav was undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital, the hospital where Union Home Minister Amit Shah succumbed to his injuries. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also rushed to the hospital to inquire about his well-being. Urologist Dr Rakesh Kapoor, who is treating Mulayam Singh Yadav, said Mulayam Singh had expressed discomfort on Thursday night. He was brought to the hospital around 12.30 pm. He was tested for corona, which turned out to be negative. He was currently under the care of specialist doctors and doctors said there was nothing to worry about.

It may be recalled here that Mulayam Singh's health had deteriorated even a month ago and he was brought to Medanta Hospital. He was diagnosed with intestinal problems at the time. After proper treatment, he was discharged and returned home. This time he was suffering from a urological problem. He was taken to the hospital on Thursday night expressing uneasiness.

On Friday night, Yogi Adityanath and Akhilesh Yadav visited the hospital to inquire about his health. Akhilesh was accompanied by his wife Dimple. Just a few days ago, Amar Singh, a one-time special colleague of Mulayam, died abroad after suffering from kidney disease.
