Sri Lanka's offer to host the remaining matches of the IPL, though UAE is the first choice for India

Despite Corona's transition being a biobubble, the IPL was forced to stop midway through after reaching out to players and staff playing in the IPL.

"We are ready to host the remaining matches," said Arjun de Silva, chairman of the managing committee of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board.

However, some sources say that the UAE is the first choice for the Indian cricket board. "We know that the UAE is the first option for India but Sri Lanka's offer cannot be ignored," said de Silva. Meanwhile, the Lanka Premier League is to be held and if the remaining matches of the IPL are played here in September, our grounds will be ready.

Meanwhile, Indian cricket board officials are also keen to complete the tournament, as the BCCI could face a loss of Rs 2 crore if the remaining matches are not played.
