Speculation of cabinet expansion in UP, Governor Anandiben will meet CM Yogi in the evening

Discussions have started on the expansion of Yogi Adityanath's cabinet in Uttar Pradesh politics and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will call on Governor Anandiben Patel today. Anandiben Patel has suddenly reached Lucknow today for the visit and at Raj Bhavan he had a meeting with officials.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to meet Governor Anandiben Patel at 7:00 pm today. It is also said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will present a report on his visit to Koro for control during his meeting with the Governor. However, speculations of a cabinet reshuffle have intensified and former IAS AK Sharma is likely to be given a bigger responsibility.

Discussion to send Keshav back to the organization

According to a report, AK Sharma may be made the Deputy Chief Minister. While there is talk of handing over the reins of Uttar Pradesh BJP to the current Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. After the formation of the government on March 19, 2017, on August 22, 2019, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh expanded the cabinet to 56 members at that time.

At present, the Yogi government has 23 cabinet ministers, nine independent ministers and 22 ministers of state. Thus, there are currently a total of 54 ministers in the UP government. Thus 6 ministerial posts are still vacant which can be increased as per the rule.
