Amid rising corona cases in India and fears of a third wave, the Congress has questioned the Center over the country's plight. The party has demanded that the central government convene an all-party meeting. During the Congress parliamentary caucus meeting, the party's interim chairperson Sonia Gandhi demanded an all-party meeting. At the same time, the standing committee was asked to look into Corona's deteriorating condition.

Sonia Gandhi addressed the meeting via video conferencing and said Corona's condition was getting worse. Sonia Gandhi said that the Modi government has completely failed to cope with the epidemic. The government should convene an all-party meeting on the Koro crisis. It can only be conquered by visionary leadership.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had also written a letter to Prime Minister Modi demanding speeding up of the vaccination campaign. Notably, Corona's new case has set a new record. A total of 4,14,188 new cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours and 3,915 people lost their lives.
