Samajwadi Party MP Azam Khan and his son also contracted corona

Veteran Samajwadi Party leader and MP Azam Khan has also been infected due to Corona's transition. His son Abdullah Azam has also been declared positive for Corona.

He is currently lodged in UP's Sitapur Jail. The corona has also been transmitted to the jail. As a result, the corona report of 13 inmates has come positive, including Azam Khan. The report came late on Friday night.

Azam Khan and other inmates have since been isolated. A total of 68 inmates underwent corona tests. Corona positive include Azamkhan's son Abdullah Azam. All are being treated at the prison hospital. Prison authorities plan to test more prisoners Is.
