On the one hand, the country is grappling with another wave of Corona transitions, while on the other hand, controversy has erupted over the Central Vista project. Many opposition leaders, including former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, have questioned this. Rahul Gandhi has also tweeted and said in clear words that the country should not breathe PM accommodation!

The central government's ambitious Central Vista project seems to be embroiled in constant controversy. Work on the project is underway in Delhi but the demand to stop it is gaining momentum during the Koro era. The matter was heard in the Supreme Court last Friday. The petitioner stressed that the project should be stopped for the time being considering the seriousness of the time.

The road about 2.5 km long on the highway is called Central Vista. There are about 44 buildings on the Central Vista route from India Gate to Rashtrapati Bhavan. These include Parliament House, North Block, South Block etc. The entire zone is being re-planned under the name Central Vista Project. It has cost about Rs 30,000 crore.
