Devotees flocked to the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab, on the occasion of the 400th Prakash Parva of Guru Tegh Bahadur. A large number of Sikh devotees went to the Golden Temple and took a dip in the lake. After taking a dip in the lake, the devotees offered special prayers at the Golden Temple on the occasion of Guru Tegh Bahadur's Prakash Parva.
In this regard, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted and paid homage to Guru Tegh Bahadur. The Prime Minister tweeted, "I salute Guru Tegh Bahadur on his 400th Prakash Parva. He is honored globally for his efforts in adventure and service to Dalits. He refused to bow to oppression and injustice. His supreme sacrifice gives strength and inspiration to many. '
Besides, Prime Minister Modi visited Shishganj Gurdwara and joined in prayers. When they reached Shishganj Gurudwara, strict security arrangements were made there. Apart from that, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh also tweeted to remember Guru Tegh Bahadur and urged people to stay at home and celebrate Guru Parva.
