Mamata Banerjee is 5000 votes behind BJP's Suvendu Adhikari in Nandigram seat

New Delhi, May 2, 2021

The whole country is watching the counting of votes in the West Bengal elections. As per the initial trend, Mamata Banerjee's party Trinamool Congress has now overtaken the BJP.

However, the shocking thing for the TMC is that at the Nandigram seat, CM Mamata Banerjee is ahead of BJP's Shuvendu Adhikari by 5,000 votes in the initial tally.

The whole country is watching this seat. Both the parties have worked hard to win this seat. According to the counting of votes in Nandigram, a three-pronged battle is being witnessed at the present stage. Candidate Meenakshi Mukherjee is also contesting.

In Nandigram, issues like employment and industrialization were dominating the election campaign. If Mamata Banerjee loses this seat, it will be a huge blow to the TMC.
