Mamata Banerjee erupts at PM Modi's meeting, says - no vaccine, no medicine, no plan, don't even let us speak

- If we follow the Centre's formula, we will have to wait for 10 years: Mamata

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a meeting with district collectors on the issue of Koro crisis. The meeting was attended by DMs from 10 states but no DM from West Bengal. The meeting was followed by a press conference by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Mamata Banerjee had leveled serious allegations against the Center and Prime Minister Modi. "The meeting was attended by chief ministers of 10 states. As a chief minister, I was there so I did not allow the DM to get involved," Banerjee said. According to Mamata Banerjee, only some BJP chief ministers and Prime Minister Modi spoke and the rest were not given a chance to speak. All the chief ministers sat silently, no one said anything. We had a demand for the vaccine but were not allowed to speak.

The PM hid his mouth and ran away

Mamata Banerjee said, “The Prime Minister said Corona is declining, but the same has been said before. We were supposed to demand 30 million vaccines but said nothing. 24 lakh vaccines were to be received this month but only 13 lakh were received. We were not even given remedies, Prime Minister Modi hid and fled. When Corona's case escalated, a central team was sent to Bengal, but if bodies were found from the Ganges, why not send a team there. The country is going through a bad time but the Prime Minister is taking a casual approach.

No vaccine, no oxygen, no medicine

According to the allegation leveled by the Bengal Chief Minister, the central government has damaged the federal structure. Oxygen, drugs, vaccines, nothing is available. If we follow the formula of the center, we will have to wait for 10 years. The speed of vaccination in Bengal is so low that vaccines are not available. We have personally bought vaccines worth Rs 60 crore.
