JDU leader and MLC Tanvir Akhtar dies in Bihar due to corona

- Nitish Kumar and Tejaswi Yadav expressed grief over the death of Tanvir Akhtarji

Bihar JD (U) leader and Legislative Council member Tanveer Akhtar has died due to corona. He had been ill for the last few days and was undergoing treatment at the hospital. He died on Saturday. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar tweeted condolences over the death of Tanvir Akhtar.

Nitish Kumar wrote, 'Bihar Legislative Council member Mohd. Tanveer Akhtarji's death is very sad. He was a skilled statesman. His death has caused irreparable damage to the political and social spheres. His funeral will be conducted with political honors. Pray to God to give him a place in heaven. ' Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD MLA Tejaswi Yadav has also expressed grief over the death of Tanvir Akhtar.

BJP's MLC Harinarayan Chaudhary also died in Bihar recently due to the Koro transition. Bihar Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Singh also lost his life due to corona.
