IMA, Uttarakhand doctors angry over Baba Ramdev, writes letter to CM to take action

New Delhi, May 25, 2021, Tuesday

Swords have been drawn between yoga guru Baba Ramdev and doctors from Allop. The Uttarakhand branch of the Indian Medical Association has written a letter to CM Tirath Singh Rawat amid statements by Baba Ramdev about the medical profession as well as treatment from allopathy. It is hoped that the government will take action against yoga guru Baba Ramdev.

The letter said that Baba Ramdev's insulting statements have worked to break the morale of the doctors facing Corona. Doctors are faithfully performing their duties in these difficult times. The second wave killed 452 doctors. The state government should take action against Baba Ramdev for his statement.

Meanwhile, this letter has also been written to the Union Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan. In which an explanation has been sought from Baba Ramdev.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has retracted his recent statement on allopathic medicines. However, he also asked 25 questions to the Indian Medical Association on Monday. However, the IMA objected to Baba Ramdev's statement in which he said that allopathy is nonsense science. As well as drugs approved for the treatment of covid have failed.

Baba Ramdev also raised the question, does the medicine industry have a permanent cure for diseases like thyroid, asthma and colitis? Do allopathies have medicines for fatty liver and liver psoriasis? Do doctors have a cure?

Ramdev said that doctors should not get sick if allopathic treatment is all-encompassing. However, after a controversy arose over the statement, Baba Ramdev withdrew his statement following an appeal to Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan.
