Gujarat gave relief to traders and extended curfew in Goa, MP, Andhra

While the Gujarat government has imposed a partial lockdown and given relief to all traders to open shops till 3 pm, the state government has extended the Goa curfew till May 31 due to the increasing number of corona transitions in Goa. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today.

However in the meantime life essential services will be allowed to continue. The state is currently facing a statewide curfew from May 9 to 23 in view of the rising number of corona cases. In the meantime only the necessities of life are allowed to continue. Grocery stores are allowed to be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. However, the curfew has now been extended to May 31.

The state government, however, has allowed drug, ration and liquor shops to remain open till one o'clock in the afternoon.

The Madhya Pradesh government has hinted at easing the Koro curfew from June one. In Madhya Pradesh, curfew has been imposed in 52 districts including Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the curfew will be gradually relaxed.

The Andhra Pradesh government has also extended the Corona curfew till the end of this month.
