Counting LIVE in 5 states: BJP concedes defeat to score a hat-trick of TMC victory in Bengal

Ahmedabad. Sunday, May 2, 2021

Assembly elections were held in five states amid the Koro crisis in the country. Exit polls have been issued after the elections. The BJP and the Trinamool Congress are set to face off in the most high-profile West Bengal assembly elections. However, in most of the polls, there is speculation that Mamata Didi may return to power.

On the other hand, the departure of AIADMK in Tamil Nadu seems certain. The Left Alliance will survive in Kerala and the grip of the Congress in Puducherry can be maintained. So the BJP-led coalition in Assam looks strong against the Congress-led coalition.

A total of six exit polls predict that Mamata Banerjee will cross the magic mark of gaining power in West Bengal. But they cannot go too far to remove the BJP from power.
