Coronavirus: Coronaviru curfew extended in Andhra Pradesh till May 31, with more than 20,000 new cases coming every day

The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to extend the already imposed coro curfew till May 31 in view of the rapid increase in corona transition cases in the state. A government order on Monday said, "Corona curfew is in force in the state from May 5 from 12 noon to 6 am, which was to end on Tuesday (May 18), but Chief Minister Y. S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to extend the curfew till May 31 at a high-level meeting to review the epidemic.

The chief minister instructed officials, "The curfew should be for at least four weeks to break the chain of corona transition, so continue." According to a press release issued by the Chief Minister's Office, Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked health officials to take steps to reduce the number of cases of infection in rural areas. The chief minister has told officials to take special care of children who have lost their lives to covid.
