In the midst of the Corona epidemic, you can now test the Covid-19 yourself at home. ICMRA has approved a home based testing kit for Covid. This is a Home Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) kit. It can be used by people with mild symptoms of corona or those who have been exposed to the infection.

Further testing of the home based testing kit is not recommended. In addition to ICMR, DCGI has also approved the sale of home based testing kits in the market. However, this testing kit will not be available in the market immediately, it will take some time for it to become widely available.

Now that Covid's home-based testing kit has been approved by the ICMR, it will be much easier to inspect the corona. Currently, only one company in India, Mileb Discovery Solutions Limited, has been approved.

The home testing mobile app is available in Google Play Store and Apple Store which can be downloaded by all users. The mobile app is a comprehensive guide to the testing process that will provide positive or negative results. The name of this app is Mileb Koviself.

Antigen and RTPCR tests are currently being performed for corona. The antigen report is received immediately while the RTPCR test report is received 24 hours later. But now that the home-based testing kit has been approved for corona testing, the investigation will be faster and people will be able to test corona at home.

The ICMR also states that those who test negative for the antigen test no longer need to undergo the RTPCR test. Earlier people used to get RTPCR test after antigen.
