The Indian government has approved a trial of the 5G mobile network in which no Chinese company was given a chance. Because of this China is very sad and has made a statement that this is not suitable for India's trade. During the current week, 5G spectrum will be made available to telecom companies for 5G trials.

Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and MTNL-BSNL will be provided 5G spectrum for the trial.

What did China say?

"We are deeply concerned and saddened that Chinese telecom companies have not been allowed to conduct a 5G trial with an Indian company," Chinese embassy spokesman Wang Xiaojian said. We hope that India will make better decisions to boost internal confidence. Not allowing Chinese companies to trial the 5G mobile network is not conducive to India's trade.

He said excluding Chinese companies from the trial would harm legal rights and interests and hamper India's improving business environment. It is not a catalyst for innovation and Indian industry.

Spectrum to be found soon

Spectrum will be made available to telecom companies in the next 2-3 days. The companies will partner with original equipment manufacturer and technology provider Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung and C-Dot. Reliance Jio Funfocom will test the 5G mobile network with indigenous technology.

According to the Department of Telecommunications, telecom companies have been allowed to trial 5G spectrum for six months. This period also includes 2 months for the purchase and setting up of the equipment required for it.
