Chardham Yatra 2021: Doors of Yamanotri Dham to open tomorrow, only 25 people including priests will be present

The doors of Yamunotri Dham will be opened on Friday, May 14, the day of the holy festival of Akshay Tritiya. Yamunotri Temple Committee vice-president Rajswaroop Uniyal and secretary Suresh Uniyal said the festival idol of mother Yamuna would be sent to Yamunotri Dham from Kharsali with a doliyatra at 8 am on Friday.

Mata Yamuna's brother Sameshwar Devta's (Shani Maharaj) dolly will also go to Yamunotri to bid him farewell. The doors of Yamunotri temple will be opened at 12.15 pm with special puja and rituals in Abhijit Muhurat.

He said that in view of the Kovid-19 epidemic, a total of 25 people, including a priest, a pilgrim priest and a palgir, would be involved in the coup this time.
