Central government let us fight Korona, stop provocation in Bengal: Mamata Banerjee

Kolkata, Ta. 7 May 2021, Friday

Mamata Banerjee, who has become the third Chief Minister of West Bengal, has attacked the Modi government at the Center as soon as she took over the chair.

He said the central government should accept the decision of the people and let the state work to control Corona. Union ministers are fanning the flames of communal riots in Bengal. We do not want to quarrel with the central government.

I received a letter from the Center within hours of being sworn in as Chief Minister. It was said that the Centre's team is reaching Bengal on Thursday. Has the center team ever come to know about the lack of oxygen or vaccine?

He said that it would have been better if the central government had shown such a boost in the cases of rape in Hathras and violence in UP and Delhi. I know that the state government has announced assistance of Rs 2 lakh for the deceased but it will not bring back the deceased but will also give some relief to the families.

He said that the leaders of Assam were claiming that BJP workers from Bengal were migrating to Assam but even in Assam, when there was a riot, people from there used to come here. It is also surprising that violence has taken place where the BJP has won more seats.
