CBI Vs Mamata: Crowd of TMC workers jammed outside agency office, pelted with stones and lathicharged

West Bengal politics is once again in turmoil. The political turmoil has erupted after the CBI arrested four leaders, including two TMC ministers. After the arrest of TMC leaders, a large number of TMC workers have gathered outside the CBI office and are protesting.

The police had to stop the support of LathiCharges to prevent protests by TMC workers outside the CBI office. TMC protesters were also reportedly stoned. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also been in office for a long time.

Trinamool Congress supporters protested by waving flags and chanting slogans against the CBI and the BJP government at the Center. A large number of CRPF personnel have been deployed at the CBI office at the central government premises at Nizam Palace and barricades have also been set up at the premises. A large number of Kolkata police personnel are also on patrol.

The CBI on Monday arrested Trinamool Congress leaders Farhad Hakeem, Subrata Mukherjee and Madan Mitra besides former party leader Shobhan Chatterjee in the Narda sting case in Kolkata.
