By the month of June, 51 crore doses of vaccine will have been given to people in India: Dr. Harshvardhan

Vaccination is the only weapon among the corona infections and it is now increasing the number of people wanting to be vaccinated while on the other hand there are difficulties due to low supply.

In this situation, the Union Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan has said that 51 crore doses of vaccine will have been given to people in India by the end of July. So far 180 million doses of vaccine have been given in India. Discussed and said that the production of vaccines is being increased to meet the growing demand.

"Production is steadily increasing. On the other hand, the vaccine that is currently being developed is being distributed equally to the states. By July, 51 crore doses of the vaccine will have been delivered in India. This includes 180 million doses delivered so far," he said. Russia's Sputnik V vaccine has been approved. Zydus Cadila, Serum Institute's Novavex, Genova's new vaccine and Bharat Biotech's nasal vaccine are yet to be approved. 216 million doses of Corona vaccine will be available between August and December.

The second batch of Russian Sputnik vaccine has also arrived in India today. The Russian vaccine has recently been approved by the government. It will be available in the open market and a single dose will cost around Rs 1,000.
