Police have arrested a BJP worker for making catastrophic remarks on Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's wife Rashmi Thackeray.
A case has been registered against him at the Pune airport station. A man named Rajendra Kakade had posted a catastrophic comment on Facebook on May 7 against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's wife Rashmi Thackeray. A police complaint has been lodged against him. That is, the accused has posted an insult to the dignity of a political figure who is active and has a reputation in public life.
Earlier, a similar post was made on PM Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath in Pune. Police arrested NCP leader Mohsin Sheikh and Swabhimani Luhar Samaj leader Shivajirao Javir.
Earlier, a case was filed against several people for defaming Sharad Pawar on social media between March 27 and April 7.
