The BJP's concern has been heightened by the anti-government discontent in UP over the kind of turmoil that has erupted in UP during the second wave of the Corona virus. Opposition forces, especially the SP and the Congress, have taken a stand against the state government over the management of the transition, with assembly elections scheduled for early next year. Then the top leadership of the Sangh and the BJP does not want to lose power in UP under any circumstances. Due to this, the Sangh and the BJP have gone into damage control mode.

An important meeting of Union Govt. Dattatreya Hosbole was held in Delhi on Sunday with Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda on the political situation in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh BJP state general secretary Sunil Bansal was also present.

The meeting discussed the impact of Corona's image on the party in Uttar Pradesh on the upcoming elections. It was learned that the meeting had decided that the government would try to quell the dissatisfaction with Corona through a campaign so that it would not affect the UP Assembly elections. The union will also help the party in this work. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has taken over the front and he is visiting the districts and reviewing the village arrangements.

In fact, during the second wave of the Corona, the bodies were washed away in the river Ganga and a large number of bodies were buried on the banks of the river Ganga. This issue has become internationally discussed. Besides, the ruling BJP in UP also performed poorly in the recent panchayat elections. Not only that, the party's defeat in Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi has left the top leadership worried.
