120-year-old Dholi Devi encourages people in Jammu and Kashmir by taking corona vaccine


- With his inspiration the whole village now voluntarily came forward for vaccination

The 120-year-old Dholi Devi has been an inspiration to people living in rural areas of Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. Dholi Devi has set an example to others by taking the corona vaccine. Later on Friday, Lieutenant General YK Joshi, Commander, Army's Northern Command, visited Dholi Devi's house at Gar Katias village in Dudu tehsil and paid her respects.

GOC takes. General Joshi said that while some people are hesitant about the vaccine, 120-year-old Dholi Devi encouraged others to take the vaccine on May 17. During the epidemic, Dholi Devi has emerged as a ray of hope and with her inspiration, the entire village has now voluntarily come forward for vaccination. According to Dholi Devi's grandson Chaman Lal, Dholi Devi is healthy and has not had any problem or general fever.

Dholi Devi is considered a living legend
