The National Technical Advisory Group (NTAGI), formed for vaccination amid the shortage of corona vaccine, has made a number of recommendations. According to NTAGI, the interval between 2 doses of Covishield should be increased to 12 to 16 weeks and people who have tested positive for Corona should be vaccinated 6 months after recovery.

The NTAGI also suggested that pregnant women be given the option to be vaccinated with any corona vaccine and that breastfeeding women be vaccinated at any time after delivery. At the same time, NTAGI also said that infected people should avoid corona vaccination for up to 6 months after recovery.

Prior to NTAGI's recommendation, doctors recommended that corona vaccines be vaccinated 3 months after recovery. The CDC US guideline also recommends that the vaccine be given 90 days after corona recovery, with no changes yet.

At the same time NTAGI has recommended an interval of 12 to 16 weeks between 2 doses of Covishield. Currently the interval between 2 doses of Covishield is 4 to 8 weeks. No change in dose interval for covacin was suggested by the panel. NTAGI's recommendations will now be forwarded to a group of national experts.

Then death will decrease

In fact, a new study claims that if the second dose of the corona vaccine is given late, it will reduce the number of deaths due to covid-19 infection. This is said to be for people under the age of 65. However it also said that this work would be done only if the situation was favorable as this is only a possibility.
