Elections are in full swing in Bengal and 4 rounds of voting have taken place. The election process, which is taking place in 8 phases, is almost half over and now the election campaign is going on before the fifth phase. Even before the fifth round of voting, neither the ruling party nor the opposition is in the mood for any delay before the election campaign.

From the Bharatiya Janata Party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will lead the election campaign on Monday. Prime Minister Modi will hold a total of 3 rallies at Bardhaman, Kalyani and Barasat in Bengal on Monday. Apart from that, Home Minister Amit Shah will address a public meeting at Dhupgudi after the road show at Kalimpong.

It may be mentioned that before the 2016 Assembly elections, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had made Kalimpong a separate district. Kalimpong was part of Darjeeling district before it became a separate district.
