Vaccines from three more companies will be approved to speed up coronary vaccination

New Delhi, dated 14 April 2021, Wednesday

Amid the dire situation created by the corona infection in the country, the government has not been able to speed up the vaccination campaign without allowing other companies' vaccines to be used in India.

There are reports that the government may approve three US companies, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Modern, in the next one month to speed up the country's vaccination drive. Conversations have begun for this. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is likely to be the first of these to be approved.

Earlier, Pfizer withdrew its application, citing obstacles to approval. However, Pfizer does not have much capacity for vaccine production. So it may take time for the Pfizer vaccine. Johnson & Johnson, on the other hand, has been in preliminary talks with the government to market the vaccine. While talks are currently underway for a modern vaccine.

Two vaccines are currently in use in India and a third Russian vaccine, Sputnik, has been approved by the government and will be available soon.
