The controversy between the Center and the state government is intensifying amid ongoing corona vaccination in the country. Vaccine shortage cries are now being heard from other parts of the country as well.

Due to lack of vaccines, some centers in Maharashtra, Orissa, Delhi, UP and Jharkhand have been closed. The state government had yesterday said that there was a shortage of vaccines in Maharashtra. At some centers, it was said that there was not a single dose of vaccine. In Satara, people standing in line went back without taking the vaccine.

The district administration sent people back saying there was no vaccine. The same situation is being witnessed in Varanasi. Meanwhile, vaccine stocks in Delhi are also claimed to be low. Delhi currently has four to five days of vaccine stock left.

After Maharashtra, Orissa also claimed that the vaccine stock was depleted, saying, "We have only two days of stock left." Out of 1400, 700 centers have been closed. A letter has also been written to the Center in this regard. The state has demanded 2.5 million doses.
