The ordeal of the Gandhi family

However, he has focused himself on only 2 out of 5 states. All eyes are on how much they can strengthen the losing party in this state and whether they succeed in bringing the mandate to the party.

Priyanka has accepted responsibility for Assam and today there is a third and final phase of polling. Before the start of the election campaign, the BJP was considered a simple comeback but over time, the Congress seems to be fighting well. In this direction, Rahul focused his strategy on Kerala. In Kerala too, the election was supposed to be easy for the Left Front but Rahul has succeeded to some extent in creating a positive mood among the people towards the Congress. He has changed the method of preaching and worked hard to change perceptions among the people. Today, there are polls for all the seats in Kerala and if the Congress succeeds in reaching the mandate or a clear mandate, it will be seen as more of a Rahul victory than the Congress. Rahul is also a member of the Lok Sabha from Kerala.

The future of Congress

After the assembly elections in these 5 states, the Congress party has to work on its own organization and party leadership. Under these circumstances, if Priyanka and Rahul come out against the party with good performance, it will be easier for them to maintain their dominance in the party. But if the party's performance in Assam and Kerala is poor, the rebel leaders will write the script for the end of the Gandhi family's charisma and there will be a lot of sabotage in the Congress. For all these reasons, Tuesday's vote is more crucial for the Gandhi family than the Congress party.
