Students angry over closure of coaching center in Bihar due to corona


- More than a dozen students arrested, several policemen injured in stone pelting

Students are outraged that coaching centers are being closed in Bihar amid the growing Koro transition. The students rioted at Sasaram on Monday and a fire broke out with vandalism. Police have arrested 9 students in the case. At the time when the students were protesting, the SPA tried to persuade the students not to ruin their future and go home instead of harassing them.

The fire broke out at Sasaram's Post Office Chowk and Gaurakshani Bazaar after several students rioted. People broke into the collectorate premises, set the shed on fire and did a lot of vandalism. Three police personnel, including Thane chairman Narayan Singh, were injured in the scuffle. Police were forced to leave the shell Tear gas had taken control of the situation after the heavy work and take control unruly students.

A large police force was deployed at the scene after the vandalism and more than a dozen students were arrested. Students complain that all kinds of activities are being conducted but coaching classes and educational institutions are being closed down. In addition to the police personnel who were stoned by the students, journalists were also injured.

The Bihar government has closed schools, colleges and coaching centers till April 11 in view of the rising Koro transition.
