Record break daily corona cases in Maharashtra-Delhi, 71% active cases in 5 states

Corona cases are on the rise across the country. According to the latest figures, more than 1.52 lakh cases of corona were reported in the country on Sunday and 839 people lost their lives in 24 hours. Only 5 states of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala have reported 71% of corona active cases in the country. Maharashtra alone has the highest active case of corona at 48.57%.

Maharashtra

Corona's condition in Maharashtra is becoming very serious. 63,294 new cases of transition have been reported in the last 24 hours. The relief is that 34,008 patients have been discharged and sent home. The recovery rate in the state is 81.65%. In the last 24 hours, 9,989 new cases have been registered in the capital Mumbai and 58 people have died. In Pune, 12,377 new cases have been reported and 87 patients have died.

Chhattisgarh

In the last 24 hours, 10,521 new cases of corona were reported and 82 people lost their lives due to corona on Sunday.

Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh, 2,03,780 samples were tested in a single day. A total of 3,67,61,069 samples have been tested so far. There are a total of 71,241 active cases of corona in the region. While 6,11,622 people have been discharged.

Kerala

The number of new cases of corona in Kerala is on the rise. In the last 24 hours, 6,986 new cases were registered in the state. In addition, 16 people died due to the infection.
