The Arvind Kejriwal government has imposed new sanctions as corona cases are on the rise in the national capital. The sanctions will run until April 30. This means that in addition to the night curfew, some more restrictions will be in place in Delhi. According to the new guidelines, all kinds of social, political, sports, religious gatherings, etc. have been banned in Delhi.

For funerals, weddings

A maximum of 20 people can attend the funeral in Delhi. While 50 people will be allowed to attend the weddings.

Negative report of RTPCR test

According to the new guidelines, all passengers coming from Maharashtra to Delhi by air will have to show a negative report of the old RTPCR test for about 72 hours from the time of entry to the capital. People coming from Maharashtra without a negative test report will be quarantined for 14 days. However, those connected to the constitutional and government machinery will be exempted.

Restrict events

According to the new order, all kinds of social, political, sports, entertainment, academy related, cultural, religious and festival related gatherings have been banned in Delhi. Also, a sports event will be allowed in the stadium but spectators will not be able to go.

Rules for restaurants, bars

In Delhi, restaurants and bars will be able to operate at 50 per cent of their seating capacity. Cinemas, theaters and multiplexes will also run at 50% capacity. About 50 per cent of the seating capacity will be able to travel in a Metro coach. In addition, buses will be able to carry passengers with 50% capacity at a time.

School-college closed

All schools, colleges and coaching centers in the capital Delhi will be closed. Online classes will be encouraged.

Rules for corporations

According to the new guideline, all Delhi government offices, PSUs, corporations, autonomous bodies and local bodies will have Grade-I or its equivalent at 100% capacity. While the rest of the staff will work with 50% capacity.

People from the health department, police, home guard, fire and emergency, civil defense or district administration will continue to work without any restrictions. At the same time, private offices and organizations are advised to call their employees at different times.
