Prince Philip recently underwent heart surgery. During which time he remained in the hospital for four weeks. He was discharged from the hospital on March 16.

The Royal Family said in a tweet that he breathed his last at Windsor Castle. Prince Philip was born on June 10, 1921. Prince Philip was honored with the Duke of Edinburgh. He married Queen Elizabeth II in 1947. The couple has been married for 73 years. Prince Philip did not appear at public events due to his ill health.
