Our agreement in negotiations is not to withdraw troops from places other than pangolins: China

13-hour meeting between the military commanders of the two countries

China's presence in Gogra and Hot Spring: Government assures both countries of agreement on maintaining peace on border

New Delhi: The 11th round of meeting on troop withdrawal was held between the military commanders of India and China. At the end of the 13-hour meeting, China made it clear that it was not ready to withdraw troops from points like Gogra and Hot Spring in eastern Ladakh. The Indian government, on the other hand, stated that the two countries were committed to maintaining peace on the border.

After the talks, the government said that the two countries were working to resolve any disputes through dialogue instead of taking provocative steps. Negotiations for that will still continue. Although India Today reports that China is ready to maintain peace, it is not ready to evacuate some of the places from which it is about to withdraw.

The armies of both countries have withdrawn from the shores of Lake Pangog. Some area in between is left blank as a buffer. But there are other places where the Sino-Indian armies are only a few meters apart. Soldiers from both countries are rocking there. So there is a fear that things will get worse in the future.

The statement issued by the Indian Army also said that the two countries would maintain peace. But in many places in Ladakh, Chinese troops are pitching tents where they were not before, it is not clear. The presence of Chinese troops only makes clear China's sinister intentions.
