New delhi date. Sunday, April 4, 2021

The BJP has leveled shocking allegations against CM Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee ahead of the third phase of polls in the West Bengal Assembly elections.

Following the leaked audiotape yesterday, BJP leaders Shubhendu Adhikari and Dinesh Trivedi alleged that Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee was promoting smuggling. In the last few years, Binay Mishra, accused of smuggling, has given Rs 900 crore to Abhishek Banerjee from coal and livestock smuggling.

The BJP has accused Mamata Banerjee's government of running a recovery gang in the state, saying a sub-inspector has been arrested on charges of coal smuggling. Not only this police officer named Ashok Mishra but 100 other officers were involved in this smuggling. Binay Mishra, the ringleader of the smuggling gang, has given Rs 900 crore to Mamata Banerjee's nephew. Binay Mishra was the secretary of the TMC Youth Front.

The BJP said that smuggling was taking place on such a large scale and the Chief Minister was not aware of it. They were looking to become Dhutrashtra. It was his responsibility to act as CM.
