West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday visited the families of the four deceased at Sitalkuchi. He assured the families of the youths who died due to firing by the central forces during the fourth phase of elections and assured that the culprits would be punished. Following the violence, the Election Commission had banned the entry of political leaders in Sitalkuchi for 72 hours so that Mamata Banerjee could reach the families of the deceased today.

Mamata Banerjee advised people to remain calm without provoking. He also blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the growing Corona case in the country. He spoke in support of the US Alliance, but said that maintaining some independence was not the answer.

Mamata Banerjee said that she had written a letter to Modi 3 months ago asking her to give free injections to everyone, but did not. Covid died a year ago. If everyone had been injected, the infection would not have spread so much. Narendra Modi and his health ministry are responsible for what is happening now.
