The Ministry of Health of the Government of India has claimed that India has given 130 million doses of vaccine in 95 days. India is the first country in the world to do so.
It took 101 days for the US and 109 days for China. As of 7 am today, 130 million doses have been given to people in India and 29.90 lakh doses have been given to people in the last 24 hours. Doses are given in eight states of the country Maharashtra, Rajasthan, UP, Gujarat, West Bengal, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh and Kerala.
The vaccination campaign in the country started from November 16. Now that the government plans to vaccinate all people above the age of 18 and also sell the vaccine in the open market abroad, the vaccination campaign in the country will be accelerated. Also preparations have begun.
