Police found 41 crude bombs before the third phase of polling in West Bengal. The bombs were found in the Baruipur area of ​​South 24 Parganas. Police found the bombs in the bushes and a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.

No arrests have been made in the case so far. According to police, Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee staged a road show in the same area where the bomb was found on Friday. On Friday, police were informed of a bomb in the Baruipur area and a quantity of bombs was seized during a search operation. Baruipur is located in Bhangor assembly constituency and is already a sensitive area.

Also found bombs earlier

Bombs have been found several times during elections in West Bengal so far. Police also seized 26 crude bombs on March 26 ahead of the first phase of polls in Bengal. Also on March 28, police found 56 bombs in a house in the Narendrapur area.
