New delhi date. 6 April 2021, Tuesday

The Indian Medical Association has written a letter to PM Modi to expedite the vaccination drive in view of the growing contagion of corona in the country.

The association says the corona vaccine should be given to as many people as possible to prevent the spread of corona. To this end, the vaccination program should be expedited. The government should give vaccines to all people above the age of 18 years. Because the second wave of Corona is breaking all records.

"Active cases are also on the rise in the country," the letter said. On the other hand, 8.31 crore people have been vaccinated so far. At present, only people over the age of 45 are being vaccinated in the country, but given the prevalence of corona, we suggest that all people over the age of 18 be vaccinated. So that immunity against the vaccine can be developed in maximum people.

At the same time, it has been suggested that anyone should be allowed to take the vaccine at any time without registration. Along with hospitals, family clinics should also be vaccinated. So that people can get vaccinated here too. Certificate of having been vaccinated should be made mandatory for doing our job in a public place.
