Four election officials have been suspended after an EVM was found in a BJP candidate's vehicle

Amid the ongoing campaign for the Assam Assembly elections, an EVM found in the car of a BJP candidate has caused a stir.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi were the first to share the video. And there was no security.

The Election Commission has suspended four polling officials and ordered a police complaint. The Election Commission has also sought a report from the district collector. The concerned officer then requested to stop the passing vehicle and take it to the headquarters.

At that time, the polling team did not know that the vehicle in which they were taking the lift belonged to the BJP candidate.

However, locals saw the scene and took the polling team out of the vehicle. However, the EVM signature is safe. Its seals have not been broken and the Election Commission is now awaiting a detailed report.
