The government is on the move after the country's boom in the Corona case. Various restrictions have been imposed from Delhi to Mumbai, from Lucknow to Bhopal. About a dozen states in the country have imposed sanctions, including night curfews and weekend lockdowns. In these circumstances, the risk of lockdown seems to be increasing and the migration of migrant workers has started again. After Delhi and Pune, now migrant workers have also started fleeing from Mumbai.

Don’t forget last year’s situation

Mumbai's Lokmanya Tilak Terminus railway station is jammed with workers from North India. Everyone wants to go home for fear of a situation like last year if a sudden lockdown is implemented. The laborers, who shared their past experience, said they reached their homes by truck during the lockdown last year, spending more money.

The administration has also become active due to the increasing number of workers at the railway station. Frequent announcements are being made and information is being given so that no illusions or fears are spread among the workers. With various sanctions being imposed in many states, people are expecting a lockdown if the situation gets out of hand. However, Prime Minister Modi, during his meeting with the chief ministers, said there was no need for a complete lockdown and emphasis on testing.
