Fear of corona spreading amid elections in Bengal, death of Congress candidate

Corona's transition is still going on in West Bengal amidst millions of election campaigners and has now reached out to political parties.

In Bengal, a Congress candidate has died due to corona. Rizaul Haque, a candidate from Murshidabad's Samsherganj assembly constituency, was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata after contracting coronavirus. Where he died today. Bengal Pradesh Congress informed about this matter on social media.

"We need to understand the reality we are facing," Congress said. Our Samsherganj seat candidate has passed away due to Corona. Survival is very important this year.

The death of the Congress candidate comes at a time when four-phase elections are pending in the state. Corona, on the other hand, is growing rapidly in Bengal as well. In the last 24 hours, 5800 new patients have come forward and 24 people have died.
