A vaccination campaign is underway to beat Corona's rage. The campaign has been gaining momentum since May 1. Vaccination will be open to all citizens over the age of 18 from May 1. But the mission seems to be taking off as several state governments have declared that they do not have enough vaccines available. Under these circumstances it is impossible to get vaccinated everywhere. According to the central government, the state governments have more than 1 crore vaccines available.

Regarding the new phase of vaccination starting from May 1, the central government says that the states and union territories still have 10 million vaccines left. In addition, 80 lakh more doses are being delivered in the next 3 days. The Government of India has so far made 15.65 crore vaccines available to the states free of cost.

According to the central government, the states have so far used a total of 14.64 crore doses. The central government has also written a letter to the states regarding vaccination. In the letter, the Center said that the vaccine stock should be used in such a way that citizens above the age of 18 can get a new supply of the vaccine.
