Corona's second wave to reach its peak between May 11 and 15, with 3.5 million active cases in the country: report

New delhi date. 23 April 2021, Friday

The country is currently reeling from another wave of Corona virus. At present, every day in India, new corona cases are breaking all the world records. Hospitals have no space, no oxygen, no medicine and finally even waiting in the cemetery. According to a report, 20 to 25 days are still to be spent in this condition. The report claims that the second wave of corona in the country will peak between May 11 and 15.

In the meantime, this second wave of Corona virus will reach its peak. Meanwhile, there will be 33 to 35 lakh active cases of corona in the country. According to a report based on a mathematical model prepared by IIT scientists, the transition to corona will decrease by the end of May. More than 3.23 lakh new cases were registered in the country on Friday. So 2263 people have died due to corona.

At present, there are 24.48 lakh active cases in the country. The number of active cases could increase by 10 lakh, the report said. Scientists from IIT Kanpur and Hyderabad have adopted the SUTRA (Susceptible, Undetected, Tested (positive), and Removed Approach) formula for their models.

Corona cases will reach new heights between April 25 and 30 in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Telangana, scientists said. In Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, however, Corona's case has already reached new heights.

According to the first mathematical model, it was estimated that the second wave of Corona virus in the country would reach its peak by April 15. However this assumption is wrong. Scientists say that even now, the assumptions made cannot be claimed to be completely true. This is because the parameters are changing every day and the worrying thing is that the corona virus is changing new forms every day.
